Those pictures were send to me by the Annex Galleries.
They were taken by Bertha Lum to illustrate an article by Dorothy Graham : “Reciprocity”.
The three panels on the wall are lotuses [sic] goddesses – attendants of Tuan-Yin, the goddess of mercy – drifting over the lotus lake. They were painted by Mrs. Lum – in oils.
The rug and the cinnabar lacquer candlesticks are designed by Mrs. Lum.
